Gardening with Native Plants and Pollinators at National Lakeshore

Join national park and Dunes Learning Center staff for a Native Plants and Pollinators Gardening Workshop at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore’s Paul H. Douglas Center on Saturday, March 18, from 9:30 am–3:30 pm.
 
Learn about native plants and pollinators specific to our dunes region and how to incorporate them into your home or school garden. This workshop will also offer a variety of techniques and suggestions for attracting native bees and other pollinators to help your garden grow. There is a fee of $35 which includes lunch and workshop materials. For more information or to register, please go to www.duneslearningcenter.org/adults.
 
The Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education is located in the western portion of the national lakeshore at 100 North Lake Street, about one mile north of U.S. Highway 12 in the Miller neighborhood of Gary.
