Full Moon Hike at National Lakeshore’s Miller Woods

Join a ranger for a full moon hike through Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore’s Miller Woods on Sunday, August 6, from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The hike is spectacular in its varied habitats including rare and beautiful black oak savanna and offers incredible views of Lake Michigan and Chicago at night. Meet the ranger at the Paul H. Douglas Center and wear sturdy shoes and bring water and insect repellent.
 
The Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education is located in the western portion of the national lakeshore at 100 North Lake Street, about one mile north of U.S. Highway 12 in the Miller neighborhood of Gary.
