INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE: Join staff and fellow volunteers for a morning of stewardship on Saturday, March 17, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Stewardship projects typically focus on preservation of the natural and cultural resources of the park. This month we will be pruning fruit trees at the historic orchard of Camp Good Fellow.

This is an outdoor activity so dress for the weather and be prepared to walk in the woods. All equipment and protective gear including gloves and eye protection will be provided. Please meet at The Park Connection volunteer office, which is located adjacent to the main Chellberg Farm parking lot.

The Chellberg Farm parking lot is located on Mineral Springs Road in Porter, between U.S. Highways 12 and 20. For more information on this or other volunteer programs at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, call 219-221-7098 or visit our website at www.nps.gov/indu and our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/IndianaDunesNL.
