Join staff and visitors on Sunday, February 4, 11, 18, and 25, at 2:00 pm at the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore Visitor Center for screenings of four excellent documentaries.
We will show Mount Rainier National Park on Sunday, February 4; Riding the Rails of History: The Story of the South Shore Line on Sunday, February 11; Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and the Black Hills on Sunday, February 18; and Lake Michigan in a Dugout Canoe on Sunday, February 25. All screenings will start at 2:00 pm.
Mount Rainier National Park explores the scenery, wildlife, wildflowers, old-growth forests, and the climb to the summit.
Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and the Black Hills explores these and other national parks in the South Dakota area.
Riding the Rails of History: The Story of the South Shore Line tells the story of the South Shore Railroad, America’s last interurban line.
Lake Michigan in a Dugout Canoe tells the incredible story of two young women who build a dugout canoe and successfully paddle and sail around the entire shore of Lake Michigan.
