Bus Tours with a Ranger Offered at National Lakeshore

Join a ranger at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore on Sunday, January 21, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am or 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for a two-hour tour of the national park in one of our heated, 15-passenger buses. This is a great way to see the park’s amazing winter landscapes without getting cold.

The tours meet at the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center, which is located at 1215 North State Road 49 in Porter, Indiana. After a brief introduction, participants will board a bus for a two-hour tour, during which the ranger will share interesting facts about the national park and the surrounding area. 

The tours are free, but reservations are required. Bus tours of the park will also be offered on February 4th and March 25th. These tours fill up quickly.
