Pinhook Bog Open House at National Lakeshore

INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE: Take a self-guided hike into the amazing Pinhook Bog every Saturday afternoon in June, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Rangers and volunteers stationed along the trail will help you understand this unique remnant of the last ice age that is filled with carnivorous plants, orchids, and many other interesting plants. Please allow about one hour to walk the trail and tour the quaking bog.
 
The Pinhook Bog parking lot is located at 920 North Wozniak Road in Michigan City, Indiana. The GPS coordinates are 41.621214, -86.850227 (Decimal Degrees).
