Bog Gone Wild at Indiana Dunes

INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL PARK: Take a self-guided hike into the amazing Pinhook Bog on Saturday, October 1 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Indiana Dunes National Park. Rangers and volunteers will be stationed along the trail to help you understand this unique remnant of the last ice age that is filled with interesting plant life, like carnivorous insect-eating plants and orchids.  Allow one hour to walk the trail and tour the quaking bog. Please arrive before 2:00 pm to allow enough time to complete the tour.  

The Pinhook Bog parking lot is located at 920 North Wozniak Road in Michigan City. The GPS coordinates are 41.621214, -86.850227 (Decimal Degrees).
