Bring your dog along for a B.A.R.K. Ranger hike through the beautiful Miller Woods on Saturday, June 29, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. Meet at the front door of the Paul H. Douglas Center. The hike’s distance can vary based on the interest of the participants. Don’t forget your leash, pick up bags and water. This spectacular hike winds through diverse habitats such as the globally rare black oak savanna, wetlands, and dunes.
The Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education is located in the western portion of the national lakeshore at 100 North Lake Street, about one mile north of U.S. Highway 12.
