Join a ranger at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore for a hike exploring the Bailly Homestead and Cemetery and the Chellberg Farm on Sundays during the summer from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Learn about early settlers and farmers who came to this region in the 1800s. Meet at the Bailly/Chellberg parking lot. The history hike is offered every Sunday between June 3 and September 2. In addition to this hike, bring the kids out to Chellberg Farm on Sundays during the summer at 4:30 pm to help a ranger feed the farm’s animals.

The Bailly Homestead / Chellberg Farm parking lot is located on Mineral Springs Road between U.S. Highway 20 and U.S. Highway 12 in Porter, Indiana.
