Join rangers at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore for an afternoon exploring our historic homesteads every Sunday in July from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Meet at 12:00 pm in the Bailly and Chellberg main parking lot for an informative 90-minute hike to the Bailly Cemetery. Upon returning, explore the interiors of both historic homes and homesteads from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Learn about early settlers and farmers who came to this region in the 1800s. Be sure to bring the kids at 4:00 pm to help feed the farm animals at Chellberg Farm.
 
The Bailly Homestead / Chellberg Farm main parking lot is located on Mineral Springs Road between U.S. Highway 20 and U.S. Highway 12 in Porter, Indiana.
