Enjoy a free concert by the Northwest Indiana Symphony at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore’s West Beach on Saturday, August 27, at 7:30 p.m.with the magnificent dunes as the backdrop. This concert, presented in partnership with the Dunes Learning Center, celebrates the 100th anniversary of the National Parks and the 200th of the State of Indiana.

Enjoy the 40 piece symphony orchestra under the direction of Conductor Kirk Muspratt for a two hour performance of music selected to fit this special anniversary year. The stage and seating area will be set up in the southwest parking lot at West Beach. Limited seating is available so visitors are strongly encouraged to bring folding chairs. Bring a picnic dinner or purchase food from one of several food vendors who will be on site during the concert. Alcohol is prohibited at West Beach. Fee collection at West Beach will stop at 5:00 p.m. on the day of the concert. Please carpool if possible.

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Chesterton High School Auditorium. If the concert is moved indoors, the information will be posted at the entrance to West Beach, on the park's website at www.nps.gov/indu, and on the park's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/IndianaDunesNL.
