Junior Ranger Activity Booklet

Junior Ranger Pledge:

I promise to protect and explore my National Parks - both natural and historical. I also promise to tell my family and friends about my experiences at Independence National Historical Park.

Pick up your Junior Ranger Activity Booklet at the Independence Visitor Center, or download the Junior Ranger Activity booklet ahead of time and bring it with you. The booklet is designed for children ages 5 and up. Kids who attend at least one ranger program and complete five activities earn a Junior Ranger certificate and badge.

Visit park sites to answer questions and gather facts.

Find historical places, objects, and documents in the park to answer questions in the Junior Ranger activity booklet. In addition to Independence Hall, you may want to explore the Franklin Court Printing Office and the Portrait Gallery in the Second Bank. If you need help with an answer, just ask a park ranger.
