Celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with Independence National Historical Park by participating in our first service project of 2026! Volunteers are needed to assist with trash clean up in our public spaces so we can keep our park clean and safe for all who enjoy it.
Interested in volunteering? Join us on Monday, January 19, 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Registration is required.
Volunteers help visitors make connections with the many stories of Independence National Historical Park. Potential volunteers are required to complete a new volunteer training and undergo a successful background check. For more information about Independence National Historical Park's volunteer program, e-mail the park volunteer coordinator.
