Communication is a necessity. Soldiers will be able to attack, to protect, and to guard their country. But the country will fall apart, if there is not a leader among the people or documents to govern the people. Some well-known example are the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence - they influence people, and that is how people listen to them and followed their rules. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin are still celebrated today. When people ask for names of famous battles do they know many? Actions will be forgotten, but words are imprinted and will forever be carved into the deep depths of America. Through writing it can be documented forever; it can be kept alive.  Soldiers are truly brave for fighting and protecting our country and our people. However, fights are short compared to the time span of documents. These writers are brave and wise for creating a document that will forever be kept in our hearts, that will forever help govern a country. It will be the hope when times are bad, a light that shines through everyone.

Solders are just everyday people who put their life on hold and rish their life to give us the freedoms that we take for granted. There are many parts of the world that would love to have even some of our freedoms.

"Soldiers are truly brave for fighting and protecting our country and our people." I could not agree more.

I agree with Pat completely. I'm also enjoying your blog.

Wow! You are so right, Catherine. Those men are brave for speaking and writing their words, when it was not popular to do.
