Leaving soon

July 26, 2012 Posted by: Qaisera

Today is our second to last day here at Project Write and I'm so sad because I'm not ready to leave yet.  Wish we had more time.

You may believe that everybody will need to peruse your book. Not correct. Rather, pick your gathering of people and tackle an issue for them in your the way to book.

Yes, it is sad, but why not make plans to stay in touch with your friends. You can all write to each other and trade stories, comments, and questions,

Quaisera, I hope you will continue to write and maintain your relationship with the Park Service and the Philadelphia Writing Project. Make plans to attend Project Write next year!

I am sorry that the workshop is ending too. I have enjoyed reading all the writings. Just a thought, think how lucky you are to have had this experence. The fact that you are sorry that it is over shows that someone made a great choice by picking you to attend. Please keep writing and sharing your thoughts.

I like your comment about wanting more time. I think that is why I love great writers- because they can talk to you across time, and their words stay alive even after hundreds (or thousands) or years and so that story they told makes it so you don't have to "leave"- you can revisit the place and the time just by reading.
