Species Lists

One of the goals of the North Coast and Cascade Network is to work with park natural resources staff to develop and maintain vascular plant and vertebrate species lists for each network park. These species lists are managed in NPSpecies, the master biodiversity database for the National Park Service.

The species lists presented represent best-available information but are definitely works in progress. Following the initial resource inventories, local experts well-versed in the biology, taxonomy, and nomenclature of park species evaluated and reviewed the species information before we finalized the lists. We will continue to update the lists as new information is obtained.
