Protecting Parks Through Science

The Eastern Rivers and Mountains Inventory & Monitoring Network is one of 32 National Park Service Inventory & Monitoring Networks across the country established to conduct baseline resource inventories and implement sustained natural resource monitoring. The Eastern Rivers and Mountains Network is comprised of nine national park units, each of which contains a rich and varied array of natural and cultural resources. These parks and their partners are dedicated to understanding and preserving the region's unique resources through science and education.
