NPS Ranger-Led Field TripsMake a Reservation and Apply for a Fee Waiver (required): Program reservations are required at least one month in advance, and group size is limited to a maximum of 50 students per day. Program availability is first-come, first-served. To request a reservation and an education fee waiver, please submit an Education Request Form. Travel Grants: A limited number of travel grants are available for schools with restricted travel budgets. This offer only applies to Title 1 public schools who are scheduled to attend one of our education programs. Inquire with the Education Team to find out if grant funds are available. Self-Guided Field Trips: If schools are not able to participate in a ranger-led field trip but would like to lead an independent field trip, complete sections 1, 2, and 5 on the Education Request Form and submit via email to hale_commercial_manager@nps.gov.
