The Gloria Dei Church National Historic Site is located at 916 S. Swanson Street in South Philadelphia. It sits near the Delaware River between the Benjamin Franklin and Walt Whitman bridges, approximately 1.5 miles from the Independence Visitor Center in the Historic District. Many visitors to the site find it easiest to arrive by motor vehicle. Read more about the directions.

Gloria Dei is an active religious congregation, and home to the parish minister. Religious services are held on Sundays at 10am. Please visit the church's website for more information about services.

Regular operating hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 9am to 4pm, except during services. There is no fee to enter the site, and reservations are not required. However, you may wish to confirm visiting hours prior to your arrival by contacting the rector at 215-389-1513. Those visitors wishing to obtain a National Park Passport stamp should call ahead to ensure the rector will be in the church office located in the Roak House.

The site has limited accessibility. The sanctuary is fully accessible for those with mobility challenges, but the cemetery is not accessible. There are no accessible restrooms located at the site.
