The Gloria Dei Church National Historic Site is located at 916 S. Swanson Street in South Philadelphia. It sits near the Delaware River between the Benjamin Franklin and Walt Whitman bridges, approximately 1.5 miles from the Independence Visitor Center in the Historic District. Many visitors to the site find it easiest to arrive by motor vehicle. Read more about the directions.

Gloria Dei is an active religious congregation, and home to the parish minister. The grounds are open from 5AM to 11PM daily. Please visit the church's website for more information about services and visiting hours.

The site has limited accessibility. The sanctuary is fully accessible for those with mobility challenges, but the cemetery is not accessible. There are no accessible restrooms located at the site.
