The Gila Visitor Center store is one of the seventy-one stores (plus an online store) it operates at NPS sites throughout the western United States. We strive to offer a fine selection of unique items that suit your needs.

The Park Store offers clothing, Native American ceramics, jewelry, gifts, books and many more items to enhance visitor's experience and appreciation of the Gila Cliff Dwellings and the Gila Wilderness. Whether you're a hiker who needs a map, a birder who needs a hat with a Montezuma Quail on it, a history buff who wants to learn more about the Mimbres Culture or the Apache peoples, or a parent who needs a snack for hungry kids, you will find a wide selection of unique items to chose from.

Park Store items for children

Children will be fascinated by wildlife puppets, games, pop-up books, binoculars, and many other fun activities and treats to help them learn about and appreciate their national heritage and public lands.

Native American pottery and other Park Store gifts

Handmade Native American pottery from local Pueblos such as Acoma, Zuni, and Hopi share common history with lovely and accurate Mimbres Mogollon (reproduction) ceramics.

Find casual and sporting clothing to suit your style, Mimbres design and modern Native American jewelry, and creative activity items for people of all ages. Feeling hungry? Try Gila Cliff Dwellings Gummy Bears, Native American bison jerky, Prickly Pear chocolate bars, and other tempting snacks.

Movies and books cover human history ranging from the ancient Mogollon and Apache, to the Mountain Men, and Aldo Leopold-- the man responsible for the designation of the Gila as the first protected wilderness in the nation. You will also find titles on a wide variety of natural history topics to help you learn about Gila landscapes and wildlife.

If you're looking for something out of the ordinary-- you've found the right store!
