Gettysburg National Military Park invites the public to view the 2017 Solar Eclipse on the Gettysburg battlefield. This unique celestial event is anticipated to begin at approximately 1:15 PM, obscuring 78% percent of the visible sun. Viewing stations will be set-up at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center, as well as at Auto Tour Stop 15, near the High Water Mark, on Hancock Avenue.
 
A limited number of free eclipse viewing glasses will be available free of charge on a first come first serve basis.
 
WHEN: Monday, August 21 from 1 PM - 3 PM
 
WHERE: The Gettysburg National Military Museum and Visitor Center and Auto Tour Stop 15, near the High Water Mark, Hancock Avenue.
 
WHAT: Solar Eclipse 2017 Viewing Station. A limited number of Eclipse viewing glasses are provided free of charge on a first come first serve basis
