Gettysburg NMP staff wants to advise visitors of potential traffic delays, on all park roads adjacent to the Emmitsburg Road, on Saturday July 14 from approximately 5 pm - 6 pm. Visitors wanting to tour the southern end of the battlefield should plan for up to an hour delay to accommodate the Parade of Chrome Motorcycle Parade planned as part of Gettysburg Bike Week. The parade will depart the Eisenhower Conference Center and head north on the Emmitsburg Road to Baltimore Street, then around the town square and return back via the same route. All park roads adjacent to the Emmitsburg Road will be affected. Please plan accordingly.
