News Release Date: August 29, 2017 “At this point we do not know when this meeting will be rescheduled,” said Bill Justice, Acting Superintendent at Gettysburg National Military Park and Eisenhower National Historic Site. The purpose of the Commission is to advise the Secretary of the Interior on coordinating activities within the Gettysburg National Military Park and Gettysburg Battlefield Historic District with local government and the community.
