Gateway National Recreation Area is seeking mobile food and beverage vendors to provide service in the Jamaica Bay and Staten Island Units of Gateway National Recreation Area. Commercial Use Authorizations (CUAs) will be issued and will authorize mobile food and beverage operations at the Jamaica Bay and Staten Island Units of Gateway for selected events and/or seasonal or shorter durations. NPS will provide selected candidates with e-mail notification of the need for service and the time and place of the event and will select from the pool of CUA Holders on a first come - first served basis. CORRECTION The correct link to the FDA Food Code identified on page 5 of the Request for Proposals is here: https://www.fda.gov./food/fda-food-code/food-code-2017. The Food Handler's Certificate identified on page 6 for Item "d" is no longer an acceptable certification. Vendors must have a "Certified Food Safety Manager" Certification under the 2017 FDA Food Code. The Mobile Food and Beverage Solicitation can be found here. Below are the necessary attachments. Electronic submissions will not be considered to have been received until the applicant mails or sends the $150 application fee and receives an electronic response from the park notifying the applicant that their application and application fee have been received. Applications must include the Applicant's name, address, phone number and e-mail address on the face of the envelope.
