Improvements to the accessiblity of the building have been included in renovation plans, but have not yet been installed. We are sorry for the inconvenience and rangers and volunteers can help work around the limitations at the site. ![]() NPS/Kevin Chandler Bus Burning SiteThe Bus Burning Site is generally not accessible. Most of the site is uneven grassy fields including the National Park Service sign along the highway. The historical marker is located right next to the roadway off of the Old Birmingham Highway and is very visible from a vehicle. Improved accessibility is a part of plans in progress to rennovate the bus burning site.Website & Social MediaAll of our web and social media content is 508 compliant.
