More Information
Service animals are welcome at Fort Washington Park. They are legally permitted anywhere that visitors can go. Service animals are individually trained to perform a specific task that assists a person with a disability. See the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) definition of a service animal.
Emotional support, therapy, companion animals, and service animals-in-training are not service animals under the ADA and are not allowed in the visitor center and indoor spaces. Pets must follow Fort Washington Park Pet Regulations. When the visitor center is open, a water bowl for service animals and pets is by the front door. Visitors are responsible for cleaning up after their service animals and pets.
