The National Park Service, Fort Union National Monument in partnership with Cornerstones Community Partnerships will begin construction of two new roadside pullouts on Monday November 1, 2010. The project will take place west of I 25 and north of Tiptonville, NM on NM 161, mile marker 25 and 26. Construction is expected to last three weeks and to have minimal impact to traffic on NM 161.
