WATROUS, NM: Fort Union National Monument announces its annual Fort Union Days Event to be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 18-19, 2022. The event weekend is FREE to the public and runs from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday and from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Sunday.
This year’s program includes a 19th-century military encampment, an extensive display of pistols and muskets from the 1800s, and other living history programs related to the history of Fort Union.
There will also be an opportunity for children to participate in a mock soldiers’ drill with wooden muskets.
The schedule of events (subject to change) is as follows:

11:30 Laundresses of Suds Row
12:30 pm Meet the Hospital Matron

9:30-4:00 Living History camp open to the public with display of historic firearms.
Sunday
