Private tours are NOT authorized to take place on park grounds.Visitors on the first ferry out to Fort Sumter have the special opportunity of assisting Rangers in raising the US flag over the fort. Visitors on the final ferry out to Fort Sumter assist the Rangers in lowering the flag and folding the colors.
