Fort Smith National Historic Site is accepting applications for the Youth Conservation (YCC) program to work five (5) day a week for a minimum of eight weeks. The program will begin when school ends. Pay is $7.50 per hour. Work hours will consist of eight (8) hours per day with a half hour lunch, or 40 hours per week. Enrollees will work with park resource management or maintenance staff on a variety of tasks.
- You will need your own transportation to and from work.
- Positions will be filled by young men and women.
- To be eligible to apply, you must be at least 16 years of age and cannot reach your 19th birthday during the term of employment.
- You must also be a permanent resident of the United States and have a social security card.
