1880 Harrington and Richardson

Caliber .38

Many companies began to spring up and produce cheap poorly made revolvers during the late 1800s. Many of these types of pistols were called "suicide specials" since they were useless for self-defense. This one was dropped by Bill Cook during a gunfight with lawmen in the Indian Territory and picked up by Dew Wisdom, and Indian Agent for the Five Civilized Tribes. This pistol was donated to the park by the Wisdom Family.
