A cooperating association sales outlet run by Western National Parks and Monuments Association is operated at the site and offers books, historic souvenirs, an audio visual selection, and logo merchandise (t-shirts, totebags, hats, pins, patches, magnets, decals, and hiking stick medallions).

Several antique and gift shops are located nearby in downtown Fort Scott and other retail establishments abound elsewhere in town.
