On-Site Visit

So, you'd like to have your group visit Fort Necessity National Battlefield?!

We are excited to have you come! We want to do everything we can to make your visit fun for you, your students and us. One of those items is to fill out this form and send it back to us. 

Make sure you are filling out the correct form! This one is if you are bringing your group to physically visit our site. Visits to the fort generally take three to four hours, depending on how much you want to accomplish. Also whether or not you'll be eating lunch.

All applicable parts of the form must be completed in order for your request to be considered. You are not required to respond to this or any other Federal agency-sponsored information collection unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number. OMB has approved this collection of information and assigned control number 1024-0288.

Estimated Burden Statement

Public reporting for this collection of information is estimated to average 5 minutes per response, including the time for reviewing instructions, searching existing data sources, gathering and maintaining the data needed, and completing and reviewing the collection of information. Ranger In Classroom

We can visit you! 

If you want to have a ranger come speak to your group, this is the form you need to fill out. If you are hoping to have the ranger do a pre-visit AND your group is coming to visit the fort, you will need to fill out this form twice. Once for the pre-visit and once for the site visit. 

Our curriculum list here will show you the variety of topics we can talk about with your group! This is only available when staffing permits. Group's location must be within 50 miles of Fort Necessity National Battlefield.

Virtual Programs

Too far away for us to visit in person?!

If your group is over 50 miles away from Fort Necessity National Battlefield, then maybe you need to schedule a virtual visit?! Virtual visits can cover all the same information a person could get visiting the site in person. Although you'll have to make your own wildlife and nature encounters.

These programs require a little more time to set up, so please make sure you leave yourself enough time. We want to make sure that you enjoy your "visit" to the fort!

Virtual and/or Distance Learning can vary depending on the technical capabilities of the park and the school. in order to find appropriate accommodations for your learning experience, here are some categories to be prepared to discuss with the park:
