Subject: Addendum to Superintendent’s 2019 Compendium

To address temporary closure due to the Covid-19 Virus at Fort McHenry NM&HS the following sections are corrected as follows:

36 CFR §1.5 — VISITING HOURS, PUBLIC USE LIMITS. CLOSURES. AND AREA DESIGNATIONS FOR SPECIFIC USE OR ACTIVITIES

(a)(1) The following visiting hours, public use limits, and closures are established:
Public Use Limits:

· Fort McHenry NMHS all public facilities excluding the Visitor Center Lobby and Restrooms will be temporarily closed due to the on-going Covid-19 public health emergency. In keeping with Federal, State, and local guidance, the Visitor Center Lobby and restrooms capacity is limited to 10 total people; one staff member and 9 members of the public. Park grounds will be open for pedestrian traffic. Park lots will be open at 50% capcity.

· The park hours will remain 9:00am-5:00pm until further notice.

· This change in public use limits was put in to place to adhere to current federal, state, and local public health guidance, it was based on a thorough risk assessment and was done with the guidance from the NPS Public Health service.
