Public Closure Notice for a Temporary Closure of an Area of Flight 93 National Memorial

Closures and Public Use Limits: The Western Overlook Trail will be closed to the public beginning at 4:30 a.m. on September 11, 2025, continuing through 4 p.m. on September 11, 2025, to all members of the public. All times are local and subject to change based on operational needs.This closure is necessary to ensure the safety of visitors and to support law enforcement operations during the event. The trail will reopen following the conclusion of observance activities, consistent with security and safety needs.

Violating a closure, designation, use or activity restriction, schedule of visiting hours, or public use limit is prohibited.

The National Park Service appreciates the public’s cooperation.
