Every year Fire Island National Seashore welcomes an incredible crew of interns to work side by side with seashore staff in order to help preserve and protect Fire Island's precious natural and cultural resources. Interns get hands-on experience while working with rangers across divisions, from interpretation to resource management. Each intership program is unique. Last summer we had the pleasure of welcoming Justin Wilson through a program called Mosaics in Science. Justin worked closely with park scientists to help monitor threatened and endangered species.
