Patchogue, NY - The National Park Service invites you to #FindYourPark and celebrate "park stars" during National Park Week, April 21-29. Whether you are looking to star in your own park adventure or explore the starry skies above the seashore, Fire Island National Seashore has you covered."There is something for everyone throughout the year on Fire Island," said Acting Superintendent Kelly Fellner, "and National Park Week is a great reason to come visit or volunteer at the national seashore in your backyard." Plan to #FindYourPark at Fire Island on your own or join a park ranger- or partner-led program.

National Park Week is also a great time to pitch in and support your park by signing up to be a volunteer. "Volunteers clear Fire Island's shores of marine debris, lead tours of the William Floyd Estate and the Fire Island Lighthouse, and so much more," said Chief of Interpretation Kathy Krause. "They are truly 'park stars' that help the seashore shine."
