Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge Exhibits

At Point of Lands in the refuge, you can look out across the landscape to the Rio Grande and Black Mesa and imagine Spanish caravans of carretas, people, and livestock traversing the inhospitable habitat. After crossing the barren Jornada del Muerto for days upon days, the caravan headed straight for the live-giving Rio Grande waters.
