October 1, 2, and 3, 2010 A celebration of birds, habitat, and conservation. Come face to face with live birds of prey, meet historical characters and hear their tales of conservation and discovery. Numerous special programs and activities are sure to enlighten and inspire. The event will feature demonstrations, music, guided walks, and special activities for kids and kids at heart! Eyes will be turned skyward at the Pinnacle Overlook in Cumberland Gap National Historical Park as birding enthusiasts and others watch winged wonders surfing in the thermals and performing spectacular aerial maneuvers during their southern annual fall migration.
