Nestled within the scenic landscapes of Cumberland Gap National Historical Park, six picnic shelters are available for visitors to reserve. Whether you’re planning a small get-together or a larger reunion, these shelters provide the perfect base for a day of exploration and relaxation.

How to Reserve a Picnic Shelter

  • Call 606-248-2817 or stop by the visitor center.
  • Picnic shelters reservations can be booked up to 3 months in advance
  • $30.00 per day to be paid day of event

The New Bartlett Park Picnic Shelter is a serene outdoor space ideal for gatherings and recreational activities. This shelter is equipped with electricity. Located near a picturesque creek, the shelter is surrounded by an open field, trails. The facility includes ample parking and a short 150’ stroll to the restrooms, making it a perfect spot for both relaxation and exploration of nature.
