Defining Element Security

After you define fields during the initial Custom Element creation process, clicking Next prompts you to assign security for the Element. Element-level security defines who can do what with the entire Element.

You can also edit Element security by clicking the edit icon for an Element in the Manage Elements dialog and selecting the Security menu option as shown below. The Custom Element Security dialog displays.

By default the owner of the Custom Element has full control of the Element and can perform any task with that Element.
