Text: Climate Friendly Parks with a sun in the background
Coltsville recently became a climate friendly park! The Climate Friendly Parks Program supports the National Park Service Green Parks Plan in providing parks with the tools and resources to address climate change and ensure sustainable operations.

The goals of this program are to measure the greenhouse gas emissions from the park, educate staff, partners, stakeholders and the public about climate change, and help the park develop strategies and actions to reduction greenhouse gas emissions and anticipate the impact that climate change will have on park resources.
