Contact: Russ Bodnar, 505-786-7014 ext. 240 Bert Leno's Acoma Native Cultural Dancers will present traditional social dances on Saturday, June 20th at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm in the plaza of Pueblo Bonito. Pueblo Bonito is located 4 1/2 miles from the visitor center on the Canyon Loop Drive. Photography (non-commercial) is permitted. On the mornings of June 19th, 20th and 21st the park will present a solstice program at the great kiva Casa Rinconada at sunrise (6:00am) where a solstice marker can be observed. Park gates open at 5:30 am. The Gallo Campground may be closed for repairs, but there are many nearby camping options. Call the park for updates and alternative camping options (505) 786-7014 ext. 221 or visit www.nps.gov/chcu/. There will be no entrance fees for visitors arriving on June 20 and 21! The National Park Service will waive entrance fees during three months this summer to help with the tough economic times. Designated dates are: June 20 - June 21, July 15 - 16, and August 15 - 16, 2009.
