Volunteer

The best way to become part of the solution for the Chesapeake Bay and watersheds all over the country is simply to get involved. You'll find opportunities to volunteer in hands-on restoration activities through the numerous watershed organizations that are essential partners in Bay restoration. Find organizations near you.

Many of the sites in the Chesapeake Bay Gateways and Watertrails Network also need your help in Bay projects. FindYourChesapeake is your best source for finding places and projects that suit your interests. You’ll find links to sites throughout the Chesapeake Bay watershed where your help is needed.

More than 160 sites across the watershed provide a great diversity of Chesapeake experiences. All of the museums, parks, wildlife refuges, water and land trails, and other places that make up the Network rely on volunteer help to maintain and restore the natural, cultural, and recreational resources in their care.
