Pets In the Park

Pets are welcome in Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area - but to protect other visitors, wildlife and your pets themselves, please remember these regulations:

  • Pets are allowed on park trails.
  • Pets must be leashed (6' or shorter leash) at all times, including while in the water.
  • You must clean up your pet's poop.
  • You must dispose of poop in appropriate receptacles or take it home.
  • Pets may not be left unattended.
  • You may enjoy the park but your pet may be happier at home.
