César E. Chávez National Monument Hours of Operation

The César E. Chávez National Monument welcomes visitors daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering opportunities to explore the life and legacy of one of America’s greatest civil rights leaders. Please note that the monument is closed on specific holidays throughout the year:

Holiday Closures:

• Easter Sunday: Observed in late March or early April (date varies each year).
• Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after Thanksgiving: Observed in November.
• Christmas Eve & Christmas Day: December 24 and 25.
• New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day: December 31 and January 1.
