Portions of Park Central, Manahan, and Foxville-Deerfield Roads, located in Catoctin Mountain Park, will be closed for road striping beginning Monday, October 31. Since the procedure is highly dependent upon weather and road condition, closures could occur at any time during daylight hours Monday through Friday between October 31 and November 4. The striping material can be driven on shortly after application but is temperature dependent. Therefore, closures are expected to be short in duration. Please anticipate delays when traveling through Catoctin Mountain Park during this time period. Questions related to the road striping delays should be directed to the Catoctin Mountain Park Visitor Center at (301) 663-9388. Catoctin Mountain Park is one of 394 units administered by the National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior.
