Jill will be joining the staff in April 2015 from her current position at the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument and Fort Matanzas National Monument in Florida. "I am very excited about this new opportunity and to work with the resources associated with Cape Lookout," Jill said. "I love the variety that working for the NPS has brought to my life and I can't wait to arrive and start working with all of you!" A native of Nebraska, Jill has worked at several other NPS units during her career with the National Park Service including Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Park, White Sands National Monument, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Curecanti National Recreation Area, Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and Mount Ranier National Park. In addition she served eight years in the U.S. Army Reserves. Jill earned her bachelors from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in Recreation and Leisure Studies with an emphasis in Outdoor Recreation and Education.
