2010 Great Island and Long Point Cabin Reservations

Harkers Island, North Carolina – Superintendent Russel J. Wilson announced the dates of the 2010 operating season and the opening of reservations for the Great Island cabins on South Core Banks and Long Point cabins on North Core Banks within Cape Lookout National Seashore. 

Please note changes to the reservation procedure for 2010, including new reservation phone numbers and a confirmation letter to be sent confirming your reservation.  Reservations for 2010 will only be taken over the phone.

Both the Great Island and Long Point cabins will open on Friday, March 26, 2010. 

Reservations for the Great Island cabins can be made through the National Park Service by calling [phone], from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday beginning on Monday, January 11, 2010.  The Great Island cabins will operate until December 3, 2010.

Reservations for the Long Point cabins can be made through the National Park Service by calling [phone], from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday beginning on Monday, January 11, 2010.  The Long Point cabins will operate until Sunday, November 28, 2010.
