Steel Creek Campground is 3 miles east of Ponca, Arkansas, off of Highway 74. All campground sites, both tent-only and in the horse-only camp area, are available for reservation at www.recreation.gov (see below) or by calling 1-877-444-6777. Sites can be reserved up to 6 months in advance. Same day reservations may also be available online. When checking into your campsite, be sure to have your reservation number on hand.

Reminder: the horse campground at Steel Creek is only for campers with stock animals. There is a self-check in station for both the horse campground and the tent-only campground where you will record your reservation number. The campground provides flush restrooms and water spigots are located throughout the campground. There are no RV hookups anywhere in the Steel Creek Campground.
